Fall · Session 2

Essence of Water

Sunday, October 25 · 2 PM - 4 PM PT

For this session we will enter into the wheel of the west by through the element of water and the female body.

Herbs:

  • Hibiscus — the maiden. Cooling, sour, Oshun’s water. The bright blood of menarche.
  • Red raspberry — the mother. The uterine tonic, the herb of the womb doing its work.
  • Red clover — Demeter’s field. Fertility, the grain-mother’s grief, the blossom that comes back every spring.
  • Pomegranate — the threshold. The crone’s fruit, the underworld contract, and (usefully) traditionally used for menopausal support, so it closes the loop physiologically too.
